Computing
Our computing program teaches essential digital skills, coding, and IT basics, preparing students for tech-driven careers and digital fluency.

Mist Academy’s computing program prepares students for a world increasingly shaped by technology, equipping them with essential digital literacy, coding, and problem-solving skills. The program introduces students to the foundations of computing, from basic computer operation and internet navigation to complex concepts in software development, data analysis, and cybersecurity.
With a focus on practical applications, students learn programming languages such as Python and HTML, enabling them to create digital content, understand algorithms, and develop software projects. Our computing curriculum also emphasizes the ethical use of technology and the importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital landscape, helping students to be responsible and informed users.
Students work on projects like website design, app development, and data visualization, gaining valuable skills in both technical and creative aspects of computing. Through workshops, hackathons, and collaboration with industry professionals, students experience real-world tech applications, positioning them as competitive candidates for technology-related careers or further studies in IT fields.
