Our agriculture program at Mist Academy equips students with practical skills in farming, agribusiness, and environmental stewardship, fostering both an appreciation for nature and a readiness for Uganda’s agricultural sector. The program includes hands-on learning in crop production, soil management, and animal husbandry, taught on our school farm where students practice techniques under guidance. 

Students are also introduced to sustainable farming practices, learning the importance of resource management and conservation in modern agriculture. The program’s unique structure bridges science and practice, exploring biology and ecology as they relate to agriculture while teaching entrepreneurial skills like budgeting, market research, and farm management. 

Through our partnerships with local farms and agricultural experts, students gain insights into the industry’s real-world demands. Our goal is to prepare students for a range of career paths, whether in agricultural science, business, or environmental conservation, giving them a strong foundation for further studies or work in Uganda’s vital agricultural sector.
